According to a court filing, unless Michael Jackson coughs up the $24 million he owes on his Neverland Ranch, the property will be put up for sale at a public auction next month. The auction date is currently set for March 19, but the King of Pop has until the date of the auction to take action to keep his Los Olivos estate. TMZ has learned that a Beverly Hills pharmacy claims Michael Jackson ran up a $100,000 tab for prescription meds, but never paid. TMZ has obtained the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, by drugstore to the stars Mickey Fine Pharmacy. The store, which often delivers its wares via motorcycle, alleges they had an oral agreement with Jackson to pay for any prescriptions they filled. The pharmacy claims Jackson made his last payment to them in mid-2005. According to the documents, the pharmacy made “repeated requests for payment.” Perhaps Jacko thought that “oral agreement” was related to how to take the pills. Michael Jackson blames his financial mess on his former accountants, and he’s suing to make things right. TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed by Jacko against Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman & Sloan, the singer’s former CPAs. In the suit, filed late Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jackson claims the firm withdrew $2.5 million a year from his accounts but did not pay the bills as ordered. Jackson alleges the firm hired and paid people on Jackson’s dime, without his authorization. Jackson has been dogged by claims he has stiffed his staff. The lawsuit also alleges that the firm entered into various agreements on Jackson’s behalf, without his approval. Jackson does not specifically allege where the money went, but claims the firm was negligent and violated its duty of trust. The sprawling estate, once perfectly maintained, has gone from magical fantasy land to ghost town since the singer deserted the California property in July 2005. Looks like Michael Jackson has taken a liking to the wee folk of Ireland. The “Thriller” singer, who left the U.S. for the Mideast following his acquittal on sex charges, has been spending time on the Emerald Isle recently, and is looking into buying an estate there — possibly a castle — according to reports. Flanked by water-dropping helicopters, about 100 firefighters fully contained a 40-acre blaze on Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. The blaze came within a quarter-mile of the main residence Friday, but there were no injuries and Jackson’s menagerie of animals were also unhurt, said Santa Barbara County Fire spokesman Capt. Michael Jackson might’ve gotten his parents kicked to the curb – and it’s not the first time this year. The beleaguered King of Pop has received yet another notice of pending foreclosure for the $7 million home where Joe and Katherine Jackson live after he missed the required mortgage parents. According to FOX News’ Roger Friedman, Jacko was once again late paying the bill on his parents’ Encino, Calif. home, called Hayvenhurst, and so authorities went to the house and put a humiliating foreclosure notice on the front gates, as Michael himself gallivants around the capitols of Europe and the Middle East.
