Kevin Federline’s camp has resisted signing final divorce papers out of concern over Britney Spears’s recent behavior, a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. But designer Nicky, 23, is allegedly angry with her parents for “dragging” her back from the Mediterranean, where she was attending a fashion show with her boyfriend David Katzenberg, to show a “united front” for her sister’s release. Lindsay Lohan crashed her Mercedes convertible into a curb around 5:30 AM on May 29. She was reportedly chasing after her lesbian pal Samantha Ronson, down Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills after an argument. She was “ultimately placed under arrest” for driving under the influence. Police cited her after she was admitted to a hospital for minor injuries, and Ronson (who had relented and got in the car) in her car were not injured. Later in a press conference, the police said they found a “useable amount” of cocaine at the scene of the accident. Now reports claim that Lohan was allegedly drunk and had cocaine in her system during the Beverly Hills crash. LiLo remains in rehab. 
Tension between Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne, continues to grow — despite reports of a reconciliation, reports OK! The trouble this time comes from mom’s eagerness to talk to the press. “Brit was furious when she heard her mom had spoken to Us Weekly,” one insider told the mag, explaining that the troubled pop star has had a prickly past with Us. “Brit feels betrayed. Her mom should’ve contacted her — not the media — if she wanted to talk.” 
Reese Witherspoon’s secret romance with Jake Gyllenhaal has ended, according to U.S. reports. The couple, who appear together in the upcoming film Rendition, never officially confirmed a relationship, but romantic meetings and uncovered secret liaisons helped fuel tabloid speculation the two stars were dating. But now People magazine is reporting Witherspoon, who separated from husband Ryan Phillippe last year, has ended the romance because she wants to spend more time with her children. A source tells the publication, “Reese and Jake just recently broke up. It’s totally and completely over. Reese was the one who had to do it.” 
Lindsay Lohan has found a new place to find romance, in rehab. According to this week’s Star Magazine she may be in rehab to kick her drug and alcohol addictions, but Lindsay sure isn’t giving up on guys – and she’s been caught being very naughty Lindsay has been lusting after two different hunk since checking into Promises rehab center in Malibu on May 28 – a fellow patient and her buff personal trainer. Good to see she is keeping her options open. “Lindsay is boy crazy,” a friend confirms. “She can’t help herself! Star reports that it has learned exclusively that LiLo has been very close with a rehabber she met at Promises. “Lindsay sparkles when she’s near him,” an insider tells Star. “They’re glued at the hip. Last night’s BET Awards were filled with amazing star-studded performances. But one performance in particular stood out as the most memorable - and not it’s not for what you think. MediaTakeOut.com learned that in last night’s performance, 50 Cent was caught lip synching. And we’ve obtained footage that shows exactly what we’re talking about. The problems began almost as soon as 50 Cent began performing. The gangster rapper was lowered onto the stage as he clearly lip synched the initial chorus to the hit song Amusement Park. But after the chorus ended, 50 tried to continue mouthing the songs lyrics. Problem was - his DJ, DJ Whoo Kidd, played the instrumental version. One person who worked the event told MediaTakeOut.com, “The whole thing was so embarrassing. To get caught like that in front of millions of people is almost unimaginable.” But the embarrassment was long from over for the gangster rapper. He walked around the stage aimlessly for what seemed like an eternity - all the while waiting for the song to re-cue. To his credit, fellow G-Unit member Tony Yayo tried his best to turn things around. Unfortunately for 50, all Yayo did was scream expletives into the microphone. When the record re-cued 50 did all that he could to salvage his performance, but it was far too late at that point. By then 50 appeared so shaken with embarrassment, that he cut things short. Finally, in what seemed like a last ditch effort to save face, 50 finishing the shortened set with the words, “Vitamin Water.” An apparent reference to the business venture that could land the rapper a $100M pay day. After the event, MediaTakeOut.com managed to speak to a number of attendees of the event. One audience member who witnessed the lip synching fiasco live told us, “No one in the audience really knew what was going on. It just seemed like [50 Cent] cut the performance short … But now that I know he was lip syncing, I think it’s hilarious.”

O.J. Simpson didn’t write one word of his unpublished confessional book, “If I Did It,” and rehearsed crying for a never-aired TV interview about the tome, says a pal of the double-murder acquittee. “O.J. told me [ReganBooks publisher] Judith Regan approached him and said to him, ‘Do you mind if we write a book and put your name on it?’ I said, ‘I don’t care. You can write anything you want, as long as you pay me,’ ” said promoter Norm Pardo, who’s preparing a TV documentary about Simpson. “O.J. would laugh, ‘Can you believe they’d pay me to say I wrote something I didn’t actually write?’ A ghostwriter largely based the book on court transcripts from Simpson’s trial,” Pardo told Page Six. After a huge uproar last year, “If I Did It” - in which Simpson told how he would have killed his ex-wife Nicole and her pal Ron Goldman in 1994 - was pulled before publication by ReganBooks. A Fox TV show with Regan quizzing Simpson was also scrapped. Simpson’s lawyer, Yale Galanter, disputed Pardo, insisting ghostwriter Pablo Fenjves and Simpson sat down over “many hours and days,” and that Simpson later corrected a completed manuscript. Pardo, who shot footage of Simpson over six years, says Simpson “practiced crying” for his never-aired interview with Regan. “O.J. still thinks of himself of an actor,” he said. Galanter responded: “I don’t recall any crying.” Regan’s lawyer, Bert Fields, didn’t get back to us. Pardo is also critical of Goldman’s father, Fred, who has said the victims’ families now own the rights to “If I Did It” and may publish it with additional chapters of their own. 
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline together again? The “Oops I Did It Again” singer plans to stop divorce proceedings against K-Fed and wants to get back together with him, according to the upcoming issue of the National Enquirer. Federline reportedly isn’t so keen on the idea. “I’m not divorcing you!” Spears told a “stunned” K-Fed during a recent phone conversation, reports the tab. “I want my family back!” The troubled pop star has been telling friends that filing for divorce from her former backup dancer — he filed a counter-petition — was a mistake, according to the Enquirer. Although he had suspected that Spears has been stalling on the legalities of the split because of second thoughts, Federline was still shocked when she dropped the bombshell, a “source close to the couple” said. Spears’ rep denies the story. The phone conversation, which was about custody rights, grew heated and Federline said he wasn’t interested in a reconciliation, the source told the tab. But Spears became upset and threatened to drag out the divorce for months “until he saw things her way and came back to her.”

Germany has barred the makers of a movie about a plot to kill Adolf Hitler from filming at German military sites because its star Tom Cruise is a Scientologist, the Defense Ministry said on Monday. Cruise, also one of the film’s producers, is a member of the Church of Scientology which the German government does not recognize as a church. Berlin says it masquerades as a religion to make money, a charge Scientology leaders reject. The U.S. actor has been cast as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of the unsuccessful attempt to assassinate the Nazi dictator in July 1944 with a bomb hidden in a briefcase. Defense Ministry spokesman Harald Kammerbauer said the film makers “will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult”.

An advertiser on The Howard Stern Show - JEC Nutrition - is filing suit for $100 million after they say their product was trashed on the show during a live-read, resulting in a 20% drop in sales. The CEO of JEC Nutrition, Kelly Lockwood, told Page Six that he paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote the I57 Ignite fat-burner. Crazy Cabbie was on the show to talk about how he’s shed 20 pounds with the product. But according to Lockwood, “The first thing out of Howard’s mouth was, ‘Geez, Cabbie, you look fatter than ever.’ ” “Then, [Stern sidekick] Ralph Circella says to Cabbie something like, ‘What the hell are you doing in here promoting a weight-loss product, you fat piece of [bleep]! Why don’t you lose 60 more pounds and then come back?’ This was horrendous for us.” Lockwood told the Post. “Our sales have dropped more than 20 percent. In seven minutes, he undid all the good work we did.” Lockwood says the suit will charge Stern, as well as Sirius, with defamation. 
Angie who has admitted that she is quite protective of her kids won’t even allow them to have friends a report published in the National Enquirer claims. The couple has hired a nanny for each of their four children - Maddox, 5; Pax, 3; Zahara, 2; and their natural daughter Shiloh, 1, according to the report. The report claims that Angelina doesn’t want the nannies carrying the children in public as it will make Jolie look bad. That is fairly well documented with photos. “If a nanny can’t live with Angie’s rules, she’s gone,” said the insider. “Another big issue for the nannies is the cant that the kids don’t have many - if any - friends besides each other.”

And with that Jess has been poring her heart out to Kellie over the break up, a source cited by the magazine claims. The problem in the relationship, according to the source was John’s jealousy and Joe Simpson. The Enquirer reports it learned the two blonde stunners rendezvoused for girl talk at an exclusive club in Dallas on June 7 - and Jessica made a tearful confession, a source told the magazine. Trouble-prone rapper Foxy Brown was attacked yesterday by three of her ex-boyfriend’s gal pals - who pulled out her hearing aid and tore her hair weave at his prompting, police sources said. The assault occurred after the hip-hop artist dumped her beau at 5:30 a.m. in Brooklyn because she found out he was a pimp, sources said. The two were in his car in East New York, and she “was giving him the heave-ho,” one source said. “This ex-boyfriend called some of his women, and they pounced on her,” another police source said. “They beat her bad. They ripped out her hair weave. Her hair was a mess - and that seems to be what she cared about most.” The women also stole Brown’s handbag and $500, the sources said. The wild dustup occurred after the 27-year-old rap diva and her unidentified boyfriend had attended a party at the Louis H. Pink Houses. The sources said Brown originally met her beau at a recording studio and didn’t realize he had a criminal past. After the assault, Brown, who hails from Brooklyn and whose real name is Inga Marchand, went to the local police station to file a complaint. 
Pamela Anderson plans to open a strip club chain called Lapland. The former ‘Baywatch’ actress, whose great-grandfather was Finnish, has been touring Finland with her father and plans to pay tribute to her heritage with a new business venture. She wrote on her official website: “Our heritage is here. We are both excited. We will be taking lots of saunas. Save my liver. “Also I thought of a great way to celebrate my Finnish heritage at home. I’m going to look into opening a chain of strip clubs and I’ll call them Lapland!”

Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead has moved into the tragic actress/model’s Studio City, Calif., home with the couple’s baby daughter Dannielynn. The photographer has told friends the place where he courted Smith holds special ties for him. Birkhead’s sister, Angela Johnson, tells Life & Style magazine, “Moving into the house is emotional for him. Larry will sleep in the master bedroom, where he and Anna slept.” Meanwhile, the snapper is eager to make sure his former love rival, Howard K.
