Love reveals to her favorite magazine Web site that Idol’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe called her office last week inquiring into whether she would be interested in sitting in as a judge on the hit FOX show. “He called,” Love tells Usmagazine.com. “He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant.” Is FOX lining up a replacement for slap-happy Paula Abdul, or just looking to spice up the show with the always-entertaining rocker/actress? Love, who is currently in L.A. recording a solo album, declined to reveal any more specific details. But a source tells Usmagazine.com that Lythgoe was considering having Love “replace Paula.” American Idol reps could not immediately be reached for comment. 
Mark Wahlberg and Scarlett Johansson shared a private lunch together on Friday at a Beverly Hills mansion. Was it to discuss working on a new project together or were they meeting about another kind of “project”? The UK Sun reports that the ‘Lost In Translation’ actress, 22, had a cozy encounter with ‘Italian Job’ star Mark, 35, on a balcony in Beverly Hills before they went inside together for more than an hour. An onlooker said: “They seemed very close. I wonder if it could be the start of a blossoming romance.” 
The 25-year-old heiress said a moving company was supposed to pay the storage fees and was “shocked and surprised” to learn her belongings were sold at a public auction. “I was appalled to learn that people are exploiting my and my sisters’ private personal belongings for commercial gain” … Hilton’s publicist Elliot Mintz said that she would like the site shut down and “would like all of these items returned to her.” 
TMZ has learned that dancers working on Beyonce’s latest videos are being low-balled on their salaries in order to make the videos on the cheap. Sources tell TMZ that the music diva is shooting several music videos in L.A. this week, which we’re told she is financing, not her label. Sources also say Beyonce’s choreographer, Frank Gatson, has refused to work with any of the dancers’ agents on this job. We’re told that by eliminating the middleman and dealing directly with the dancers, Beyonce can pay them below standard wages. Industry contacts say this practice is highly irregular for an artist of Beyonce’s stature, and it undermines the dance industry as a whole. TMZ has learned that in order to maintain good working relationships, the production company for the project , RSA Films, has recently agreed to pay agency fees for some of the dancers.
Former Saved By The Bell star Dustin Diamond has been “quarantined” from the rest of the cast of US reality series Celebrity Fit Club after fighting with fellow contestants. Diamond got into a very public row with former American Idol contestant Kimberley Locke, which caused her and 1980s pop singer Tiffany to storm off the set. After the women walked off the program, producers halted production and sent the cast home. During the heated argument Diamond allegedly said, “Screw Kimberley Locke. I’m going to make a dildo of my c**k and f**k her with it.” After Locke gave producers a “him or me” ultimatum, they decided to exile Diamond from other cast members. An on-set source tells PerezHilton.com, “He will not participate in the challenges and will have a private weigh-in for this weekend’s upcoming filming. Unfortunately, there are only three more tape-days left over the next 30 days. So it was too late to replace him.” Diamond, who played Screech in the TV series, made headlines last year when he starred in a raunchy sex tape which showed him engaging in sex with two women. 
Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have checked into a London clinic together to help the troubled rocker conquer his drug addictions. The pair were photographed yesterday arriving at the Capio Nightingale Hospital in north London, which specialises in helping patients overcome drug dependency. It is thought the pair will attend therapy sessions together. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, “They arrived together and they will be supporting each other.” Doherty has attempted rehab on numerous occasions in a bid to tackle his heroin and crack cocaine habits. Moss was herself treated in 2005 after being caught on camera snorting cocaine. 
Britney Spears wants ex-lover Justin Timberlake back, it has been reported. The ‘Toxic’ singer - who is said to have lost her virginity to Justin - is desperate to rekindle her romance with the ‘SexyBack’ singer since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline. Britney’s hopes have been raised since Justin split from his long-term lover Cameron Diaz. A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “Britney would love to have Justin back. They still talk a lot and she’s been telling friends for months about how good Justin was for her.” It has also been alleged that Britney, 25, started dating model Isaac Cohen in attempt to make Justin jealous. The source added: “Britney gets an ego boost by parading her piece of eye candy around! “Britney hopes Justin will think more of her now she’s been seen with a successful guy like Isaac, because she isn’t hanging out with a loser like Kevin anymore. Jermaine Jackson said on Monday he wants his brother Michael to convert to Islam; and he believes the reclusive superstar has given it serious thought. “Michael, I feel, needs to become a Muslim because I think it’s a great protection for him from all the things that he’s been attacked with, which are false,” said the former Jackson Five singer who now lives in Bahrain. “There’s a strength and protection there,” Jackson told BBC Asian Newtwork after finishing runner-up to Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in the “Celebrity Big Brother” TV reality show that was marred by accusations of racist bullying. The photojournalist fighting Anna Nicole Smith over the paternity of her baby girl Dannielynn has sensationally revealed the actress/model miscarried their first child. Larry Birkhead and his attorney Debra Opri appeared on CNN show “Larry King Live” on Friday night to update the ongoing paternity battle, which was delayed earlier in the week when Smith was granted the opportunity to fight demands for a DNA test on her baby. Birkhead refutes that claim and now reveals he and his ex-girlfriend had been planning to have a child for some time. He told King, “It was a long-term plan that we have had together, you know, to have a child. And we tried once before… It was unsuccessful. It resulted in a miscarriage. ” 
Diddy seemed to have been caught off guard when he was spotted entering a New York hotel Sunday morning with Sienna Miller. Diddy, father of newborn twins, was spotted dropping off Miller at her NYC hotel this morning after a rumored night of partying together in the city. Diddy had a trapped rat look when he noticed cameras watching from across the street — and we’re told a bodyguard was sent over to the photographer to try and get him to delete the footage. Combs and Miller were rumored to have gotten cozy at TAO nightclub during Sundance as well. Maybe Sienna’s working on a second career as a rapper. 
The California Highway Patrol recommended on Monday that actress-singer Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, for her involvement in an accident that killed a woman motorist, the Associated Press reports. Currently awaiting review by the city attorney’s office, the charge carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. On Dec. 30, 2006, on Interstate 405, Brandy’s Land Rover struck a Honda which then hit another car, slid into the center divider and was hit by a fourth car. The driver of the Honda died later of blunt-force injuries. 
Lindsay Lohan has upset residents of the Los Angeles rehab facility she checked into earlier this month because they claim she’s treating the facility like a hotel. The fellow troubled souls seeking counseling and solace at the Wonderland center are upset with Lohan’s trips out of the facility - and the fact she’s being allowed to continue working on her new movie while in rehab. The final straw reportedly came last week when the Mean Girls star took a break from rehab to have her Mercedes serviced and shop. Sources at Wonderland have aired their grievances to news website Tmz.com, claiming the actress is getting special treatment. They also tell the site Lohan has a masseur, hairstylist and makeup artist, who visit her regularly. But the actress’ publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, insists Lohan is taking rehab seriously, and the criticism is unwarranted. She says, “Lindsay is 100 percent not getting special treatment. She’s getting the same as everyone else. This isn’t the Betty Ford Clinic, it’s not a lockdown facility. There is personal time. All these naysayers who keep blogging and speaking out… they don’t know what she’s going through, they’re not there. They shouldn’t speak until they’ve gone through something like that.” 
Michelle Rodriguez gave clubgoers at The Plumm an impromptu show the other night when she took to the club’s stripper pole in the new lounge owner Noel Ashman has set up. “She was on there for 20 minutes,” said a satisfied spywitness. “She took lemon wedges and greased the pole so she could slide better. She didn’t get naked, but she was hanging upside down and twirling around. Is T.R. Knight about to exit “Grey’s Anatomy”? The actor was the subject of a widely-publicized homophobic slur by a cast mate and he “is so upset about the situation and so disgusted by how it was all handled,” that he’s planning to leave the show, says a source. “He was told not to say anything about the whole incident,” says the insider, referring to an on-set dust up in October when fellow cast member Isaiah Washington referred to Knight, who plays Dr. George O’Malley, with a derogatory word used to describe gay men. “He kept his word, but then the whole thing blew up again at the Golden Globes, and when he was asked about it, he basically called Isaiah a liar,” says the source. “He feels that the atmosphere there is so toxic and unhealthy. I suppose things could change and we would stay, but for now, he’s planning to leave the show.” 
Britney Spears was picking up her car at an L.A restaurant and dumped a pile of change on the pavement while reaching for her ticket. When the valet pulled up with her car, she pointed at the change and said “there’s your tip” adding “Im sure there’s a lot of money over there but I don’t have time to pick it up” and making the poor dude scrape $5 in coin off the ground. 
Eddie Murphy snubbed the “Dreamgirls” premiere in London because he didn’t want to run into ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown. A source tells the New York Daily News that Murphy was afraid the fans’ reaction to him wouldn’t be good “because of what he did to her” — namely dumping her on a Dutch talk show and denying he’s the father of her unborn child. Eddie’s rep claims he was just tied up with publicity obligations for his upcoming film “Norbit.”

The new mom with the new boyfriend dubbed Kevin Federline 2.0 is not ready to pull a Brangelina and turn into a globetrotter, the Visa that is reportedly getting worked over is her charge card. In Touch Weekly is reporting that the blonde is showering male model Isaac Cohen with gifts. In a feature titled ‘Will Britney Ever Learn?’ the weekly entertainment magazine notes that she is already showing Isaac the money. The report notes that the two have already taken a trip to Vegas on Brit’s dime to the tune of a $40,000 night at the Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms Hotel in Sin City. Remember the gifts that Brit doled out to Kevin during their relationship? In Touch notes that K-Fed had that infamous $270K Ferrari and was also given $30K worth of veneers. So why does Britney feel the need to shower her boyfriends/husbands with expensive gifts? A chatty insider claims that Britney needs to feels ‘in charge’ and the only way to do it is by charging it. But will this work with Cohen? Most accounts seem to conclude that he is much more grounded than Kevin or Britney. And the insider says, Isaac “has never asked for a single thing and has offered to pay when he’s been out with Britney.” Does she ever accept, the insider tells ITW no, Britney always foots the bill.

The weekly entertainment magazine teases on the web site - Angelina Jolie couldn’t hide how tense she felt at the Golden Globes adding that a new and surprising point of contention has surfaced for Brangelina: Angie’s been talking to her former fling and Alexander co-star, Colin Farrell. “He says he misses her and regrets not taking their relationship further,” an insider says. Who wouldn’t? According to the report in the print edition of the weekly entertainment magazine an insider is dishing that Colin has been calling Angelina since December. And the report claims that Jolie is taking the calls and chatting with her former flame. 
After dropping jaws at the Golden Globes (and not in a good way) with her scary-skeletal frame, Mary-Kate Olsen is once again denying reports that she’s battling anorexia anew. Olsen, who was treated for the disease back in 2004, “still works with her therapist to keep her in line,” according to an Us Weekly source, and struggles with the problem every day. Her rep, however, says that the young millionaire isn’t losing weight, and has what we regard as one of the most novel explanations for weight loss ever: “The blonde hair she has now makes her look skinny.” 
It was supposed to be Alicia Keys’ 27th birthday party, but Kimora Lee Simmons took center stage when she got into a bizarre screaming fight with another woman Wednesday night. The intimate fete at Bed started out mellow enough, with Keys hanging out with her boyfriend, Kerry (Krucial) Brothers, and pals like Clive Davis, Missy Elliott and Common. But minutes after everyone had sung “Happy Birthday,” a shrill voice shattered the vibe. “Get out of my face, b-!” shrieked Kimora, according to a witness. Guests wheeled around to find the designing wife of rap mogul Russell Simmons yelling at a woman in jeans and a tan vest. “Kimora said that the woman had thrown a drink at her,” says one attendee. “She didn’t look wet to me. But security grabbed the girl and ushered her out.” Asked by another guest what the fight was about, the woman said, “She’s jealous of me!” The woman couldn’t be reached yesterday. Kimora’s rep described her as “a disrespectful fan” who “accosted” Simmons. One source added, “Kimora doesn’t even know this person, but [the woman] constantly shows up at events where Kimora is expected. Frankly, it’s a little scary. Kimora is looking into getting a restraining order.” Whatever the back story, Keys didn’t seem to appreciate the drama. “When Kimora was leaving, Alicia totally ignored her,” claimed a source. Keys’ rep insisted, “She had a wonderful time.” 
Now the Mail has learned that David’s father, Yohane, is so concerned about his 15-month-old son that he is making arrangements to fly to England to demand assurances that David is happy and well. The peasant farmer is furious at a “total lack of communication” from Madonna and the Malawian adoption ministry. Meanwhile, relations between Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, are said to be “seriously rocky”, with the film director repeatedly berating her for the way she has handled the situation and rejecting out of hand Madonna”s pleas to adopt another African baby in the coming months. Small wonder friends say that Madonna is at “her lowest ebb” and on the brink of fleeing the country for her old hometown of New York. 
Elijah Wood was shocked when he was attacked by Jared Leto at an awards show recently, because The Lord Of The Rings star said he didn’t like Leto’s band. The 26-year-old star was attending the MTVU Woodie Awards in November when Leto, who is the lead singer of cult act 30 Seconds To Mars, approached his table. Leto came over, whispered in Wood’s ear and walked away, but then turned around, grabbed him by the throat and called him a “f**king a**hole.” Wood tells Jane magazine, “He was basically upset at the fact that I said I didn’t like his band. He said that initially and walked away. I guess he thought I was laughing at him, but I was more shell-shocked and telling people around me, ‘Whoa, I just got told off by Jared Leto for not liking his band.’ And that’s when he came back and grabbed me.” He adds, “I told Jared it wasn’t personal. He acted like I’d been disrespecting him or speaking about his family. Things like that don’t usually happen to me. I’m very non-confrontational. The whole thing was kind of ridiculous.”

Now country superstar Keith Urban may have more to worry about. The singer is just now out of rehab for alcohol treatment and a published report details that his wife Nicole Kidman has been involved in a car crash and has been taken to the hospital. Her condition is not known. The story is being reported by ET Online. Citing sources the website of the nightly entertainment show reports that the Australian beauty was taken to a hospital after being involved in an accident on the set of her latest film, ‘The Invasion.’ According to the report The actress and her co-star, child actor Jackson Bond were shooting a chase scene when a stunt driver lost control while turning a corner on slick pavement. The street had been wet down with water before the scene. Their Jaguar crashed into a pole and hit a garbage can. Entertainment Tonight is also reporting that two crew members who were strapped to the top of the Jag were also involved, but it is not known if anyone was seriously hurt. 
As for how Banks feels about her own 5′10 body – which she says is at 161 lbs. these days, about 30 lbs. heavier than when she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 1997 – she says: “I still feel hot, but every day is different.
